Before the year 2014 ends, I want to share some of the photos that I captured from our recent trip to Paris. I am itching to come up with a series of blog entries but come to think of it, this is the busiest season of the year! Plus, it is the time for family, relatives and friends to have get-together parties or coffee dates. So yes, our schedules are tight. 🙂 Soon as this holidays’ over, we shall be back to our regular programming.

Coming from a country where Christmas season starts as soon as the calendar hits the –ber months (from September onward), I have always enjoyed the festive mood. In fact, this is my favorite holiday because you can really feel that everyone is happy, exchanging greetings, gifts, hugs and kisses. When we went for a stroll on the way to Rue Saint Honoré we saw a place called Le Village Royal. It stands out from afar  because of its Christmas tree displays with red cup-like adornments.

  •  is in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, the area where the famous Avenue des Champs-Élysées can also be found.

The photo above is one of our most memorable here. We were standing right on that spot (where he was standing in the photo) and we were trying to figure out the route to Rue Saint Honoré. Suddenly, the store nearby started playing Frank Sinatra’s “It’s Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas.”  That very moment made me realized, “OMG! we are in PARIS!”. I actually said that to my better half and I held his arms tighter.

I mean, it’s cold, but I have this beautiful place to explore and it has become more romantic because I have him with me as we stroll the streets of Paris.

These will be all for now, but I will get back for more 😉
