Still talking about the great finds that I tried last 2015, today we will discuss the two important products that are crucial in our makeup routines – the eyebrow makeup and eyeliner.

Berry’s Favorites for 2015 – Eyebrow Makeup and Eyeliners

Best Eyebrow Makeup

Ladies, I am sure you understand how a good and well-groomed eyebrows affect our faces as a whole. Our brows basically frame the face and help in defining our eyes and for my 2015 favorites, I have 2 brow products from one brand.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow Pomade & Brow Wiz

This brand has been a cult favorite because it simply changes the brow game. Before, I was using MAC eyebrow pencil and then turned to NYX Cake Powder which, by the way, was one of the good stuff that I tried from NYX. When I had the chance to purchase and tried it for the first time, I already know that I cannot run out of this product. EVER.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow Pomade

One thing that I love about this is that once it is settled, your brows will no longer move (I mean, it won’t fade) – you don’t have to worry about sweat or if you accidentally touch your brows.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow Pomade in Taupe

For my brows, I am using the dip brow pomade (taupe) and the brow wiz (medium brown). The combination of these products allows me to draw the brow that looks natural. I am using the brow wiz to outline my brows while the dip brow fills in my brows, then for final touches, I would use the brow wiz again.

Here is a comparison on how my brows looked when I used MAC eyebrow pencil as compared with Anastasia Beverly Hills brow products. MAC Eyebrow Pencil vs Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow Pomade and Brow Wiz

1. Stila Cosmetics – Smudge Stick Waterproof Eye Liner

This is on top of my list and I have been using it since 2014 and I am still in love with it to date. I using the shade Stingray (Jet Black) and if I were to choose between MAC Blacktrack and this, I will definitely go with the smudge stick.

I have achieved a lot of my best cat eye look using this and here is one of them.

2. Make Up Forever Aqua Eyes

As MUFE claims it:

The Aqua Eyes is a waterproof liner pencil available in 26 shades. Highly pigmented, its formula adheres to the eyelids and doesn’t run or fade even under the most extreme conditions.

And it really does its job. I currently have the matte brown and will try other shades soon.

The Aqua Eyes are sold at the local Sephora stores and Luxola online and you can get them at 34 SGD each.

3. K-Palette Real Lasting Eye Pencil

Found this when I dropped by at a Sasa Store and the good thing about that day was they were on sale! I got 2 K-Palettes at 50% off 2 for 30 SGD (the original individual price is at 19.90 SGD). In Manila, this brand is being endorsed by celebrities and makeup artist and so I gave it a try and I really liked it because it can withstand the humid weather without budging.

These three products are all easy to use & apply. You can use them directly from their tubes, or you may use a brush to apply. Whatever works to achieve that perfect cat eye. 😀

Best Eyeliner – Kohl Pencil

Charlotte Tilbury Rock ‘N’ Kohl Iconic Liquid Pencil

I reviewed this last September and you can find the full details here.

Charlotte Tilbury Rock 'n' Kohl - Barbarella Brown

This kohl pencil is highly pigmented, creamy and blends like a dream. You can easily  achieve that soft and sophisticated look for the day and can easily shift to dramatic eyes for the evening.

Here is the Dolce Vita look that I created using this kohl pencil. Check out the full details of this look in this link.

2. Happy Skin – Eye Am Here to Stay 24H Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner

I haven’t posted my review for my Happy Skin haul but let us have this as one of the previews. Happy Skin’s Eye Am Here to Stay Liquid Eyeliner wowed me big time! The product is simply amazing! It is very pigmented, easy to use (especially if you prefer having that flick) and it stays well.

I have been using this almost every day during my stay in Manila last December and the longest that I wore it was almost 12 hours and it did not move a bit. But most of all and probably the best thing about this eyeliner is that it doesn’t leave you with a “panda look” after removing it.

Happy Skin Eye Am Here to Stay Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner

That is one thing that I usually hate with waterproof liners – when they leave you with traces (at least in my experience) even after you used tons of waterproof makeup remover. But this eyeliner is not one of them. I used both my magic eraser and Bioderma on different instances and they both worked their way to remove the eye makeup well.

The Eye Am Here to Stay 24H Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner is available at Happy Skin counters in Rustan’s Department Stores in the Philippines but if you are outside Metro Manila/Philippines, you can also check their website at www.happyskincosmetics.com. This eyeliner is sold at 699 PHP (roughly 15 USD / 21 SGD).

Thank you for reading and until my next post! 😀 Check out my other posts for Berry’s Favorites for 2015 thru the links below:
