For this summer-inspired look, I prepped my skin with Mario Badescu Facial Spray then applied the Cover FX Primer with Anti-Acne Treatment on my problem areas while I used MUFE Step 1 Primer (for large pores & fine lines) on the center of my face towards the cheeks.
For colour correction, I used MUFE Camouflage Cream Palette‘s Green to cancel the red spots on my face and the Peach colour under my eyes. On the cheeks, I applied MAC x Chris Chang’s purple cream blush in Sock-It Xiqu to get rid of the sallow appearance of the skin.
Then, I mixed a squeeze of Becca’s Liquid Shimmering Skin Perfector (Opal) and 2 pumps of It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better Color Correcting Full Coverage Cream to achieve a more natural skin and that inner glow. To conceal the imperfections, I used It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye and then set it with Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder. I also set my T-zone (only this part and keep the rest of the face dewy!) with the translucent powder so I won’t look too shiny for later.
I used my current favourite brow pencil – Benefit’s Precisely, My Brown pencil in No. 4 and did not do much. I just kept it clean and natural.
For the eyes, I applied NARS Pro-Prime Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base on the lids then used LIMIT from Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette on the crease, followed by Kylie Jenner’s Rose Gold Creme Eyeshadow. Then I dipped the liner brush to FACTORY (same palette) and sprayed a bit of MAC Fix Plus then applied it like an eyeliner while I tightlined using Charlotte Tilbury eyeliner in Barbarella Brown.
For the naturally flushed cheek, I used a Beautyblender to apply MAC x Chris Chang’s Peony Pavilion then add a dab of Charlotte Tilbury ‘s Love is the Drug (the outer rim which is a very light pink colour) towards the ear for a sort of gradient effect.
Now we go to the bronzers. Yes, bronzers because I used 2 – NARS Laguna as my contour for the face and nose line then added Hourglass Luminous Bronze Light (sooo pretty!) to achieve the bronzed glow. Apply it on the high points of the face where the sun naturally hits. Then, I picked Jaclyn Hill’s Prosecco Pop for my highlighter and applied it on my cheeks towards the ear, bridge of the nose and arch of the brows.
I did not use any false lashes, rather I just curled my natural lashes with the Shu Uemura lash curler and applied the Tarte Lash Paint. Lastly, I filled my lip Charlotte Tilbury’s Lip Cheat in Pillow Talk and then applied Kylie Jenner’s birthday gloss, Poppin’
There goes my bronzey and glowy look for the summer and I hope you liked it. Until our next session!
